City of Falmouth Public Works Begins Annual Leaf Collection
MONDAYS - WEDNESDAYS - FRIDAYS
City of Falmouth has begun annual leaf collection and will continue through the month of November. The vacuum truck will be out on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Guide for Quality Service for Leaf Collection – Help speed up leaf collections by taking note of the following guidelines.
- To avoid obstructing proper drainage and causing equipment damage, put leaves out to the edge of street.
- Do not mix leaves with limbs, brush, sticks, trash, rocks, bricks, or the like. Leaves containing these materials may be bypassed in order to prevent equipment damage and collection delays.
- Do not block leaf piles with vehicles.
- If you notice drainage grates clogged in your area, please call (859) 654-6937 to request cleaning.
Have additional questions? Please contact the City of Falmouth at (859) 654-6937.
GREAT JOB CRAIG SMITH!
We are pleased to announce that one of our Water Plant Operators Craig Smith has received his Drinking Water Treatment IIIA License. Craig has been with the city since February of 2012, during that time he has worked in various positions where he has contributed his time to garbage, electric, water distribution and sewer distribution. In June of 2015 he decided to transfer to the Water Production Department and became a Water Plant Operator for the city.
With his education and his experience, we believe he will do a splendid job in this new role and the responsibilities that come with being a licensed operator.
Please join the Mayor, City Council, and fellow employees in congratulating Craig Smith on receiving his DW Treatment IIIA License.
