Understanding that the recent service increases may have made it difficult to resident’s budgets, the City would ask that anyone having trouble paying the current bill, to contact the City and ask for additional time to pay. Provided residents are current on the prior bills, those before the increases, the City will grant an extension, prior to the imposition of any late fees and/or shut off. The City would ask that you contact the City and request the extension versus simply not paying.

The City of Falmouth’s Revitalization & Events committee hosted its Spring Clean-Up on Saturday, April 28th, which included 37 volunteers working across two shifts to spruce up the City! Teams began Downtown working primarily on Shelby and Main streets focusing on trash, debris and soot in gutters. While the entirety of the debris was not removed, teams worked diligently to clean sidewalks of grass, weeds and years of soot. Among the teams was one working on weeding and mulching around the city sign as well as pressure-washing the Veterans Park shelter. Lunch was provided at noon before the second shift began to close our the day of volunteerism. The City of Falmouth and Falmouth Forward committee would like to thank all who participated!
Additional work thanks to BB&T will be done on Veterans Park within the next month, and city streets will continue to be cleaned into the summer months. Thank you in advance for doing your part to keep our city clean! It takes each of us doing our small part to make out city a cleaner, safer place.
